This was done with no practice. It is simply easier for her than the "conventional" way.....
Suzanne has advocated for years for her son and knows she is dyslexic herself.
For this session we had a teacher-friend sit in to observe. The difference in Suzanne's reading from the first page to the second page is striking - especially after she adjusts her reading angle to what is best for her.
If it works for my son, maybe it'll work for me....
Does it really matter if the book is upside down? Yes, it matters to Cole because this is the only way he can make sense of print...
If you have a child who has to read upside-down or sideways a computer screen can be inverted with a few key-strokes.
